You might be familiar with other AAC systems that require you to press and hold a button for a certain amount of time (this is called "dwell time"). In QVoice, we've opted for a more modern and efficient approach using simple taps: tap up, tap down, and a quick tap. We believe this makes communicating faster. We encourage you to try this new way of interacting. If you experience any difficulties or prefer a "press and hold" method, please reach out to our support team. We're always learning and value your input!
- Tap: Quick touch and release on the button.
- Tap Down: Action happens when you first touch the button.
- Tap Up: Action happens when you lift your finger off the button. Your position needs to be on the button when you lift up your finger.
